The automatic Trophy watch has been given a new look for 2019. Fitted with a black ceramic bezel, this diving watch is water-resistant to 300 metres and offers versatility of style with its bi-material fabric and rubber strap. Urban and sporty with a touch of neo-vintage, it is ideal for all seasons.
Sporty in the extreme
Aimed at water sports enthusiasts, the automatic Trophy presents a 42 mm 316L stainless steel case, vertical-brushed on the top and polished on the subtly domed edges. Featuring generous lugs, it is topped with a unidirectional rotating bezel in black circular-brushed ceramic. In contrast, the gold-coloured graduated scale – complete with indicator triangle with a white luminescent coating – ensures optimum visibility during dives and decompression. In everyday life, it can also be used to time durations of under 60 minutes.
Absorbing reflections of light with its deep velvety matte black colour and protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, the dial features oversized hands and ultra-readable hour markers coated with a blue luminescent substance. Ringed in a gold colour, they match the railroad minute track positioned clearly on the flange. At 3 o’clock, a date aperture, complete with magnifying lens, adds the finishing touch to the model’s precision.
The strap is to a watch what shoes are to an outfit: the key accessory of the look. It is one of the most charming features of this new model. Finished with four stitches on the edges and fastened with a steel folding clasp, it is made of a highly durable canvas fabric steeped in comfortable rubber. Adding an elegant urban touch to the automatic Trophy, the choice of strap gives the timepiece a chic sporty look without causing problems when it enters water.
Water-resistant to 300 metres thanks to its caseback and screw-down crown, this watchmaking instrument is powered by a Swiss-made automatic movement (Sellita). A guarantee of reliability and accuracy, this oscillates at 28,000 vibrations per hour, with 26 jewels and a 38-hour power reserve.
Made in France, the automatic Trophy was designed, assembled, adjusted and inspected within the Michel Herbelin studio, based in France’s Franche-Comté region since 1947. Highly reliable during dives and practical for everyday use, this timepiece is excellent value for money thanks to the outstanding attention to detail.
