A strong trend in all areas of fashion in recent years has been to take inspiration from the past. When it’s come to designing new styles in the watch world, watch makers have quickly followed suit. Vintage looks have had a big influence on the market and every self-respecting watch brand has released new models with a retro twist. For lovers of this old meets new look, the good news is that it is set to continue; this year’s Baselworld saw a significant number of classic and timeless designs combined with modern movements and case construction.

Many of watches created in the early days have lasted the test of time, and with some tender loving care from the team of highly skilled watch making team, are still fully functioning to this day.
